Bluegill

The USS Bluegill was a "hunter-killer submarine" that served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. In 1971, she was sunk as a salvage trainer off Lahaina in 130 feet of water where she rested until 1983, when she was raised, towed her to deep water and sunk with military honors.

Cocktail Ideas

• The Swamp Panda begins with Bluegill huckleberry vodka in a shaker full of ice. Then add a squirt of Wild Berry infusion and fill with lemonade. Shake it and serve in a chillded martini glass with a huckleberry gummi bear on a toothpick.
