Since we're designing a Tipsy Garden this year, complete with a Drunken Hedge, we're bringing in plants with cocktail names. Check out Geum 'Cocktails Mai Tai'. This perennial features semi-double apricot blossoms with ruffled edges on burgundy stems with interesting strawberry-like foliage. Easy to grow in full sun and well draining soil. It's a butterfly favorite and deer resistant. Check it out in the nursery at Westport Winery which is open daily from 11-7.
