Evergreen Stalwarts in the Garden

If you need reliable evergreens in your garden you might want to try these trees in the nursery at Westport Winery Garden Resort. We are opendaily for brunch, lunch and dinner from 8am to 7pm and to 8pm on Friday and Saturday.
Dwarf Alberta Spruce (Picea glauca 'Conica') is a slow growing conifer with upright, conical shape and dense, soft needles. It responds well to shearing and shaping for topiary. Ht. 6ft. Zone 4.
Lemon Cypress (Cupressus 'Wilma Goldcrest) features golden yellow, evergreen foliage with a lemon scent. Its columnar habit makes for a great vertical accent in any garden. Well suited for a hedge or in containers. Provide good drainage. Ht. 10ft. Zone 7.

Hinoki False Cypress (Chamaecyparis ob 'Fernspray Gold') boasts arching sprays of golden, fern-like foliage. Each unique, flattened branch tapers to a point, just as a fern frond does. Slow growing. Full sun. Ht. 10-12ft, Zone 5.
