Peace Poles

On World Peace Day (9/21) we installed nine peace poles in the new Beauty From Ashes Garden. Winery co-owner, Kim Roberts, painted each as a unique work of art with the phrase “May Peace Prevail on Earth.” Additionally, every sculpture has a historic quote of inspiration.

Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding.”Albert Einstein

Fabulous Floats

Our collectible hand-blown float balls are now available in Cougar, Husky and Seahawk colors! We’ll have Halloween pumpkins in October and plenty of holiday colors in December.

A Case of Hamau Side

Hamau Side, the third book in winery co-owner Kim Roberts’ mystery series featuring Aloha Jones, was released in September. The prequels Luna Sea andPoi Son are half-priced when purchased with Hamau Side. All these books are available for Kindle on Amazon.

A Garden of Earthly Delights

Color Wheel Garden: This new garden is located just past the golf course pond. You’ll see it from a distance since it features eight giant color pencils.

Four Season Garden: This is a great example of how to create and keep interest all year round.

Wedding Garden: It’s all planted in white blooms as the perfect backdrop for every wedding photo.

Wedding Lawn and Bridal Changing Room: This new grassy glade is the place to share vows with family and friends. The quaint little changing room is designed for calm thoughts and close friends.

Canvas to Our Imagination

We’re delighted to have a new sculpture by Tyler Hansen of McCleary in our Four Season Garden.

Be sure to find four recycled pallet benches made by Neil Emerick of Raymond and painted by Kim Roberts. These collaborative works of art are located in the new Beauty From Ashes, Color Wheel, Four Season, and Wedding Gardens.

Love of beauty is taste. The creation of beauty is art.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

Fresh, Local, Homemade

Ours is not fast food. Everything in our restaurant and bakery is made from scratch and prepared just for you. From mustard, garlic and fresh rosemary on the prime rib to our home grown lavender on the shortbread cookies we love creating food that is fresh and filled with flavor.

Welcome Thunderhoof and Skydancer

Near the wooded ravine we hope you’ll say hello to our new Nigerian Dwarf goats when they arrive in November. These two wethers (neutered males) are tasked with clearing the weedy underbrush from this area where we want to create a woodland garden next year. General manager Carrie Roberts named them Thunderhoof and Skydancer after two of her favorite childhood book and cartoon characters. They join our farm’s Swedish Blue Ducks named Violet and Periwinkle, and our Tibetan Swamp Pandas (Chows) Lulu and Curzon.
