Four Seasons of Spice

Four Seasons of Spice

Westport Winery has developed its own wine cocktail spices called Four Seasons of Spice. Each of the mixes is packaged in a hand-blown mini=float as part of the winery’s collaboration with artists Johnny and Darlene Camp of Opal Art Glass in Cosmopolis.

Winery co-founder Kim Roberts said, “Our guests asked us to bottle sangria. But we have so many great wines it was impossible to decide which should be the base. By developing our own spice mix the guests can choose which of their favorite wines they want to turn into a cocktail.”

Once the decision was made, the family decided to add other flavors to the mx. The product line includes a Spring Sangria Sipper with plenty of citrus notes, the Summer Tropical Slushy keen on sultry flavors, the Autumn Orchard Icy embraces the mixed mood of the season, and Winter Mulled Wine is sure to warm the holidays.

The winery’s long collaboration with Opal has resulted in the popular Float wine bottles, the Shelter From the Storm lighthouse bottles, and four glass sculptures in the winery’s 67-acre estate’s display gardens.
