Rare and unusual in the nursery at Westport Winery Garden Resort: Podophyllum 'Spotty Dotty '(Hybrid May Apple) has huge, lobed umbrella-shaped chartreuse leaves in the spring, boldly marked with rich chocolate-brown spots. Mature plants produce garnet-red flowers and fleshy fruits. Best in a shady woodland garden with rich, moist soil. The nursery is open daily from 8am to 7pm. Wine club members receive a 10% discount on all plants and gifts.
