If you have ever wondered where and how the wine is made we encourage you to join our Backstage Winemaker’s Tour every Saturday and Sunday at 1 pm. This costs $5 per person (under age 21 are free). Wine club members and guests tour free.
We invested in a new line of top quality olive oils, balsamic vinegar, spices, rubs and sauces. The unique tap system we have allows us to offer refills on your bottles. It saves money, it is easier on the environment, and these products are good for you! We’ll have tasting throughout the gift shop daily.
Whether you’re creating a custom basket or need a bottle wrapped for a last minute hostess gift, we’ve got you covered. And remember, you are welcome to BYOB (Bring Your Own Basket) and then fill it with us. And as always we gift wrap for free.
Kim Roberts will teach a free one-hour Beginner Yoga class in the Meditation Garden every Sunday at 9am in July and August. Yogis are welcome to join her for brunch at 10am. At 2pm on each of those days she will also lead a two-hour Guided Garden Tour. It costs $10 to tour or $5 for wine club members and it includes a glass of wine.
We developed four incredible mixes for you to use with any of our wines. Just add two teaspoons to your favorite or blend a bottle for a party. These are available in hand-blown mini floats and in cute canning jars: Spring Sangria Sipper, Summer Tropical Slushy, Fall Orchard Icy, Winter Mulling Spice
Wine Club is free to join!
Members receive 20% off wine (even in the restaurant) and 10% off gifts and plants. Club members and their guests enjoy free wine tasting at both tasting rooms. We charge wine club the first Friday of February, May, August and November. Pick-up your wines at your convenience in Westport or Cannon Beach. Keep our selections or exchange them for your preferences. We’re flexible.
Since we opened in 2008, we have donated over $400,000 to local charities. Thank you for helping us share our success to over 35 local organizations. We don’t increase the price of our products to make this happen. Instead the winery founders, Blain and Kim Roberts, donate their wages.
When you add that to the investment the family has made by commissioning local artists to create over 50 outdoor sculptures you begin to see the magic.
Up to ten guests can book a private tasting with winemaker Dana Roberts and select their favorite vintages served with cheese and chocolate in our new Barrel Room. The cost is $100 for the group. Those attending will receive an extra 5% off case purchases. (Wine club members would receive 25% off each case of wine and non-wine club members would receive 15% off each case.) Barrels & Case is scheduled at the time of the guests’ choice in coordination with the winemaker. For reservations call 360-648-2224.
You are invited to join winery co-owner and mystery writer, Kim Roberts’, Wine and Murder (WAM!) Book Club. It’s a casual couple of hours where avid mystery readers and moderate drinkers can discuss, laugh, and share the love of reading. In keeping with the premise of WAM! Roberts has chosen The Merlot Murder, A Wine Country Mystery by Ellen Crosby as the first book. The “club” will meet the first Friday afternoon of every month at 4pm behind the winery’s tasting bar.
We now offer a Sunset Special and Happy Hour Monday through Thursday from 3pm to 5pm with $1off all entrees, beverages (wine, beer, cocktails, soda, coffee) and appetizers.
On Saturday, June 16 from 11am to 4pm, we will host our Fleur de Lis Festival. This includes the Master Gardeners free plant clinic on dividing and transplanting irises, a local artists’ show, renown painter Jill Neal will be signing her work as we release the latest vintage of Duckleberry Grunt featuring her art, free sampling of Olympic Mountain Cream which we will offer in our shop, a sculpture unveiling at 5:30pm, followed by live music on the patio with Six Pack Pretty from 6pm to 8pm for dancing, drinking, and dining.
We have created the most fabulous Flour Power Cupcakes! We use Shepherd’s Grain flour made from wheat grown in the Northwest. It is naturally low-gluten, non-GMO, and sustainably farmed. Plus, they are made with olive oil so you can think of them as a healthier cupcake! To make each one extra special we are decorating them with beautiful blossoms, so if you purchase multiple cupcakes you will enjoy a bouquet! We are currently baking: vanilla with raspberry buttercream, chocolate with raspberry Amaretto cream cheese, marionberry with orange buttercream, and blueberry with lemon buttercream.
